    This is one of my favorite Van Gogh paintings, the favorite being Potato Eaters. So dark and peaceful.

    oh wow i just looked it up...i have seen it before actually, but not since studying history of art at school. it's got so much depth. actually it feels a bit voyeuristic like you are looking in on a private scene.
